Merry Christmas!

Joy, peace, hope, and love to all of you in this season and in the New Year.

Hello!

Here's what we've been up to lately:

I've been busy making messes -- in my room

and in the basement, where I don't have to clean up every day. I've also been making some new friends.

Papa/Santa has been busy in his workshop, and Mama has been spending a fair bit of time at her computer (but nobody found this interesting enough to photograph).

We've also been making cookies,

playing in the snow,

and doing the requisite home improvement shopping.

Moving on Thanksgiving

First, we had to put everything in boxes (putting me in a box was my idea).

A lot of the boxes went in my room in preparation for moving day.

On moving day, Nana did whatever it took to keep me out of the way. Here we are burying a pumpkin in the landscaping.

Here we are having lunch. We were feeling pretty grateful because thanks to everyone's hard work, the truck was just about packed already. Yes, turkey was one of the sandwich filling options.

Since our truck was mostly full, we had some time to play at the playground one more time.

Then we had a nice dinner at a Czech restaurant in Davis. Here I am snuggling with my Nana.

Here's Uncle John and Aunty Melody.

And Grandpa and Uncle Ben. We are very thankful that everyone came and helped and had dinner with us.

The next day we loaded the last things into our truck -- it was pretty full.

I said goodbye to my friend Kai -- we've been hanging out since I was 6 months old and he was about 4 months old. Then, we got in our truck and drove away.

I drove some.

Mama drove some.

And Papa drove some (I also did some sleeping).

We stopped for dinner in lovely Winnemuca, Nevada. We took the recommendation of a local at the gas station and had dinner at this casino, the Model T. After dinner, while Papa and I were using the potty, Mama put her first ever (and probably also last) quarter in a slot machine and won 5.

We reached Boise around noon the next day. Papa's work colleagues Aaron and Ryan helped us unload and we all ate pizza for dinner.

That's all for now. We'll post some photos of our place once we've unpacked most of the boxes and tidied up.
