Halloween
N: I dressed up as a robot and went trick-or-treating with my friends Lucas and Gabi. Being a robot was ok (making the costume was really fun) but my movement was a little limited. Next year I want to be Spiderman. If I don't change my mind between now and then, Mama will have to learn to sew or break with tradition and buy a costume for me.
N: Mama got the boxes ready and I decorated them with tin can lids and painted them all by myself.

A: What do I think of life on the outside? So far so good, but the service is a little slow sometimes
A: Here I am with Oma. She and Opa arrived three days before I did and took very good care of all of us during my first week at home
A: Here I am taking a snooze on Opa.
A: Here I am with Nana. She arrived just before Oma and Opa left and she took very good care of all of us during my second week at home.
N: Turns out Oma plays Legos too!
N: Nana and I had fun making houses and trains and food out of play dough
One Last Adventure as Three
In mid October we took one last family-of-three adventure to Bruneau Dunes State Park. This is a natural dune formation not too far from the Snake River. Here I am sliding down the bare dunes.
Here's a very unexpected lake. There's also an observatory -- it was cloudy and moonlit, so we didn't look at the stars, but we got a good look at the moon through some nifty big telescopes.
Don't worry, we didn't camp (Mama was not up for sleeping on the ground). We stayed in this cool little cabin instead. Mama still kept Papa awake going outside to pee, though.
