Slide Hair!
Into the Back Country
Between Christmas and New Year's we did a little bit of exploring....
Here we are snowshoeing a little north of Idaho City. I don't have my own snowshoes yet, but that didn't really matter, since there was quite a crust on the snow.
Spruce trap!
Papa made me laugh by jumping and breaking through the crust in his snowshoes. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't break through, and this made it even funnier. I kept telling Papa to "do it again!"
On the way back, we happened upon this beautiful spot...
Hot springs! We didn't take any pictures of the next pool down because it was full of people in their bathing suits.
Papa put his feet in and said, "Ouch!"

Favorite things
Here are some of the Christmas gifts I received:
A Lego airplane! (Thanks Andrew and James!) Papa had a blast putting it together and I love flying it around.
Also, my light-up fish keychain from Uncle Ben and the really big snowman lollypop from Oma and Opa. I still take this one out and have a few licks every so often -- it doesn't look very appetizing to Mama and Papa anymore, but I think it hits the spot.

White Christmas
On Christmas morning we built this really cool snowman with a real carrot nose.
