Merry Christmas!

Warm wishes for a joyous holiday season and a good "Rutsch" (slide) into the New Year!

Weihnachtsstimmung -- getting ready for Christmas

Baking Plaetzchen First we roll

Then we cut

Then brush with a little egg yolk

We get very messy in the process

But the final product is delicious

Nikolaus (December 6). Nikolaus came with his big book and told all of us what we do well and what we could do better. He said I'm good at sharing my toys, but I could do a better job listening to Mama and Papa sometimes. How did he know? (See post-it notes in book)

He did both Noah's at the same time.

First skiing attempts

This year I am big enough to try out skiing, so Mama and Papa rented skis for me for the season.
First I tried them out in the living room.
When it snowed, I tried them out in the park.

Whee!

Lego Mania

Big Legos upstairs (thanks, Amelia!) -- I built this one all by myself.

Small Legos downstairs (Papa helped me build all this).

Calendar Guy

In my world, fire trucks make fires and garbage trucks deliver the garbage.

Thanksgiving

We celebrated Thanksgiving in Lewiston, ID with Andrea, Steve, Isaiah, and Michelle. I loved being in Lewiston and hanging out with Isaiah, but the five hour drive was tough. "Isaiah lives too far away from Boise!" Mama and Papa know all the words to the songs in Kleine Eisbaer now. Sorry about the photo quality -- we forgot the camera and had to take phone photos.
Here is Andrea posing with her first Turkey -- she did a great job!

Here we all are sitting down to dinner

Here I am playing the piano with Isaiah. We always have a lot of fun together. We get to have sleepover parties -- so far we are well-behaved and go right to sleep (as far as our parents know). Just wait until we are bigger.....

Fall

Here I am enjoying the leaves at the park with my friend Amelia. We had a lot of leaves, so we had to do a lot of raking. I did some raking, some sweeping, some pile jumping, some pile spreading, some leaf picking up, and some staying out of the way.
