All aboard the meatloaf train!

Mama and I visited Nana and Grandpa in Sunnyvale last week. Nana made this awesome meatloaf train for dinner one night.
When we got home and someone asked me what my favorite part of the trip was, I said, "Eating a train!"
Here we are waiting for a real train. I love my Nana.

Music

I've been playing lots of music lately. The first video is my band. The second is me "playing" solo.

Going to Work

Some days I go to work. I let Mama and Papa know that I must not be late. I usually search the fridge for good lunch options -- today it was a container of chopped mushrooms -- pack my bag, give Mama a kiss goodbye, and head out on my bike. At the end of the day I come back and announce that I'm home, and Mama and Papa are very happy to see me.

Happy New Year!

Did you party this hard on New Year's Eve? I went drag with my friend Alexa -- fabulous!

Winter Adventure

We spent the 24th and 25th at a cabin in the mountains up north near Idaho City. Although the cabin lacked a few of the comforts of home (indoor plumbing, electricity, a driveway), it made up for it in other ways (cozy woodstove, flannel Smokey the Bear Curtains, beautiful surroundings, plenty of winter recreational opportunities, and peace and quiet).
Here we are, starting off. Little did we know that Duckie and my Schnuffelditucher (security blankets) were still at home (gasp!) -- that's right -- Mama and Papa have remembered those ever-so-important items on every trip until this one.
Here we are playing Jenga. This was when everything was ok again -- after we got the fire going and the cabin warmed up and after we called up Duckie on the dinosaur phone to make sure he was ok.
We drank hot apple cider to warm up after checking out the moon and the stars and the little Christmas tree in the woods (see photo in previous entry)

In the morning we put on our snowshoes and went out and explored Beaver Creek.

Though I didn't mind peeing in the pee pee pot by the fire, and though I liked sleeping in a sleeping bag between Mama and Papa on the big high bed, and though I loved sledding on the little hill across from the cabin, I still missed my Duckie very much, so after a fun day in the snow, we decided to hike out and drive home instead of staying one more night.
