Winter Adventure
We spent the 24th and 25th at a cabin in the mountains up north near Idaho City. Although the cabin lacked a few of the comforts of home (indoor plumbing, electricity, a driveway), it made up for it in other ways (cozy woodstove, flannel Smokey the Bear Curtains, beautiful surroundings, plenty of winter recreational opportunities, and peace and quiet).
Though I didn't mind peeing in the pee pee pot by the fire, and though I liked sleeping in a sleeping bag between Mama and Papa on the big high bed, and though I loved sledding on the little hill across from the cabin, I still missed my Duckie very much, so after a fun day in the snow, we decided to hike out and drive home instead of staying one more night.
