Christmas (yes, we know it's March, we're a little behind)
N&A: Here we are baking Eierplaetzchen.
N&A: Notice anything different about our tree? You don't, do you? Neither did anybody else (even a Forest Service Silviculturist) until they were told that Papa made this tree. He brought many small branches home from Home Depot, drilled holes in a bigger branch, and stuck the small branches into the holes. It wilted a little sooner than a real tree, but it was otherwise very convincing. Why did he do this? We read about it in a book we really liked: Petterson kriegt Weihnachtsbesuch (Petterson gets a Christmas visit) by Sven Nordquist.
A: This is what was in that package from the previous photo -- a baby doll from Oma and Opa. I love this baby doll, and my friend Oliver really loves this baby doll.
