Noah turns 7
Ever since we read The Trumpet of the Swan (E.B. White), Noah has been into birds. So we made bird feeders at his birthday party.
Here we are mixing up the suet -- Crisco, peanut butter, corn meal, and bird seed (recipe on Audubon website).

Here are the finished products. Unfortunately, they were popular with the squirrels.
It's easy to come up with decorations for a bird cake right after Easter....
