Spring
Now that it's fall, we're finally getting around to blogging about spring...sorry about that.
Papa ran Robie Creek -- a really fun but really tough half marathon that starts out in Boise and goes up through the foothills and down into a beautiful mountain valley. We met him at the end with cake.

Tomato planting. It's still too early to put them in the ground, but if we put them in bigger pots now they can start getting some growing accomplished and we can still bring them in on cold nights.
Noah ran the Capitol Classic with his buddy Lucas. It starts up on the hill at the Boise Depot (which the Amtrak sadly no longer services) and ends up at the Capitol.
Nana came to visit and we went to the World Center for Birds of Prey. They do pretty neat work here that you can't see (like raising baby condors to release into the wild), and they also have some cool exhibits and some live birds that can't be released back into the wild for one reason or another.
First camping trip of the season -- Succor Creek (just over the border in Oregon) -- with our friends Hadley and Owen. We explored the cool cliffs in those caves behind us and hiked in Leslie Gulch, which feels a lot like Southern Utah with its interesting rock formations.
